Southern Dallas Code Camp for Kids

#IncreaseOpportunity. Saturday Code Crunch introduces minority students to the basics of computer programming/coding and digital entrepreneurship
and allows them to build on their skills year around. For many of these students, Saturday Code Crunch is the only opportunity they have to experience an enrichment program of this kind-providing tremendous value at less than half the cost of most code camps.
Our vision is to increase the number of children of color in the digital space by empowering minorities ages 8 to 17 to become innovators in STEM, eCommerce, and digital communication through exposure to computer science, coding, digital entrepreneurship, and technology. Our purpose is to educate and mold future leaders and creators in our increasingly digital world.
We are aiming to equip these students with the necessary skills to occupy some of the 1.4 million computing job openings expected to be available in the U.S. by 2020. 100% of the funds received will go towards the Saturday Code Crunch Program serving minority children in Southern Dallas County(Oak Cliff, South Dallas, Desoto, Duncanville, Cedar Hill, and Lancaster).
Please consider how a few dollars can make a huge impact on a student’s life.
This program is a non-profit initiative through CADAP, Inc (a 501(c)(3) organization). Donations are 100 percent tax deductible.
