First of all, thanks for stopping by! I’m here today to ask you for your help in making my dream of becoming a software engineer come true.
I’ve resigned from my full time job to focus on studying for this career transition. After a couple months of self-study, I was recently accepted to Hack Reactor , an immersive three month bootcamp that takes you from a novice to a master software engineer. However, tuition is $17,780 which is way beyond what I can bear on my own (and it's due in 4 weeks).
Once I complete the program, I plan to pay-it-forward by volunteering my time to organizations that seek to bring more diversity to the field, specifically women. According to statistics , only 26% of computing jobs are held by women. By investing in me, you’ll be contributing to turning around these poor statistics. PLUS, by early next year, you’ll know a software developer that you can contact if you ever need something built!
