Community Growth

Community Growth was started in January 2015 by Simon Buwaya and Meaghan Power.  From that day forward, it has flourished beyond our wildest dreams, all thanks to supporters like you ❤️

 

The project began by providing a small group of women with the tools and knowledge to begin a self sustaining agricultural project.  This was a huge success, and now these women have access to food security, a small income, clean water, and working together as a community to overcome huge challenges. 

 

Community Growth is now focusing on a school sponsorship program.  Our partner school provides excellent education and by purchasing the land in 2019, the school is now there to stay. 

The amount of lives that Community Growth has touched throughout the years is overwhelming.  The kindness of humanity and the feeling of community across the globe is something we never could have imagined possible.   

This project gives every penny it receives directly to the people in Buwenda and surrounding villages.  The beauty of a small, independent, local run program.
