Message from the captain, Jess Rudd:
“I’ve been apart of Cookley for 13 years now and love the club deeply. Last season we won the cup and the league and it was the best season of my life.
Unfortunately, we have had massive changes at the club this year and as the captain for the team, I am so sad about this situation.
Thankfully, I am part of a team that has some loyal players who wish to stay at Cookley and try and make this club carry on, after what could have been the end.
We have a new manager lined up, we have ideas about next season and we are keener than ever to make next season the best one yet.
This is where we need your help! The initial set up of a club likes ours is actually more than many would think, so we are now doing everything we can to raise the money to enable us to continue next season.
If you are able to donate and help us out, we would be SO grateful. Women's football is on the rise and we so desperately want to continue being part of that journey.
