This campaign is strictly to fund the creation of a new Creepypasta/horror forum website with the added feature of a "front page" displaying any related content users want to supply.
Picture any given horror/humor website, but with a front-and-center spotlight on the community's articles, ideas, reviews, stories, and whatever else they wish to post.
This project is the brainchild of Slimebeast, a creepypasta author with decades of experience in designing and maintaining web projects.
The bulk of the funds raised will go toward purchase of a very fitting, easy-to-remember domain name that will be familiar to any and all who travel in the circles of horror.
The majority of time spent building and maintaining this project will actually be unpaid work done by the proprieter, Slimebeast.
The site would break down as such:
- A board for general CreepyPasta linking, discussion, and appreciation.
- A board for promoting your own original written work.
-- A subforum below that specifically for critique.
- A board for posting CreepyPasta videos.
- A board for posting creepy art.
- A board for discussion of the CreepyPasta "community" and other websites/resources.
- A board for hooking up between creators. Artists and writers, and so on.
- And more.
Features would include:
- Zero unwanted trolling. Delete any response to a thread you originally posted. (Abuse it to silence critique at your reputation's own risk.)
- Your content will appear front-and-center on the CMS-style front page of the entire site.
- Request a private board for you and your friends. (Must be a reasonably sized group, reason must be horror-themed.)
- Tools necessary to write "articles" for the site if you so choose... including reviews!
- Much more.
