After JROTC Bob was sent to The DC/VA area to work with the AW2 Wounded Warrior Program.

Bob Also grew to love Kayaking ,Something him and Patrick did together. Along with teamriverrunner.
They took trips together as Father and Son and enjoyed every second of it .
The Statue we want to erect in his honor will go to Ft Benning. Bob belongs there with his Rangers. Bob was born to be a soldier and he not only surpassed the basic 20 years and then retirement .. He held on until the very last moment ..32 years serving his country and his fellow soldiers.
Bob passed away of natural causes at home in Richmond Hill, Georgia. He spent several years at Ft Stewart as a member of the 3ID 3/15TH CSM .
There is so many stories to tell of Bob.. All of us love him so much and miss him dearly. A huge hole has been created in our lives without him.
He was and will always be the vision and idea of what a RANGER is and should be. I want to place the statue in an area that they can walk past and know that Bob is watching them.. giving with guidance and strength , as he did for all of us .
