He needs your support to cover project expenses. On board his rowboat, Victor is bringing a wheel chair and some musical instruments for a long time admirer of Ernest Hemingway he met recently in Cojimar, Cuba.
The humanitarian project that is being undertaken is a continuation of the Goree Challenge , which encompassed a transatlantic row from Las Palmas, Canary Islands to New York's Brooklyn Bridge.
En-route to the United States, Mr. Mooney robbed by pirates in Haitian waters. The boat was recovered and sent to Miami for repairs; thereafter, he continued to New York.

The mission was for the fight against HIV/AIDS and to memorialize African ancestors that died during the transatlantic slave trade and those that endured a life of servitude on the plantations in the Americas and Caribbean.
After arrival in Key West, the Spirit of Malabo will be sent to Equatorial Guinea for permanent exhibition.
"It's our prayerful hope that this final mission will also raise the tide of humanity between the US & Cuba" - Don Victor Mooney.
