Cuddle cot in memory of Hunter JR Smith

Donation protected
Our baby Hunter Jon Ryan Smith was diagnosed with trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome) at our 12 week scan. We gave him every fighting chance after the diagnosis and allowed him to decide when his time was up.
Hunter fought so hard and proved odds wrong and made both myself and his daddy super proud.
He fought a fight in my womb and proved so many people wrong, he was born at 32+6 weeks. I was induced after hunter gave up his fight and decided he had,  had enough.
Hunter was born on 26/12/18, 5:41am weighing 2 pounds 11.
He is and was the most inspirational little boy we have ever come across and me, his daddy and all other family members and people all around the world built a connection with him. Just because he was never alive outside the womb didn’t matter, he still showed so many people how strong and courageous you can be no matter your size.

At the minute myself (hunters mummy), hunters daddy and family members are spending time with hunter at Robin house children’s hospice up until his funeral to make memories with him that will last a life time.
This would not have been possible if we hadn’t had the cuddle cot.

We are raising money for a cuddle cot in hunters name, a cuddle cot allows families to keep their babies with them for a bit of time after birth, this allows time to make memories that will last forever.  If there is any money left over it will be getting donated to robin house hospice who has looked after us all so well and given us 24/7 support and care and also looked after baby hunter and made sure he is comfortable and given us the “Rainbow Room” for hunter to stay in.
This is a ventilated room which keeps hunter in the best possible way until he is laid to rest and again allows us that time to spend with him making precious memories.

Myself, hunters daddy and Hunter will be eternally grateful for everybody who has supported us and took interest in Baby Hunters existence because without you all, we wouldn’t be here.

We hope that you can all come together in helping up raise money for these amazing causes. This money will go towards making memories for future families going through these loses and lets families have that little bit of extra time with their loved ones.
Trust me this will go a long way.

Thank you in advance.
