Curry Mens Rugby & Men in Nursing for Epilepsy
Donation protected
January of 2019 Anthony Maffie, a Nursing student and former Rugby player at Curry college unexpectedly passed away from Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP). This shook his family, his friends, and the Curry community to the core. Through the darkness we've searched for ways to bring light to his name and form a day for people to come together to celebrate his legacy and honor him as an athlete and a nursing student.
Curry College's Men in Nursing Club has been working hard in collaboration with the Men's Rugby team to put this event together. After months of planning we finally present the Maffie Memorial 7’s Tournament. A day of sport, commemoration and bonding.
March 30th from 9am to 5pm 8 schools with play in honor of our fallen teammate and friend. For those that cannot make it but would still like to donate we have created this go fund me page.
