CW Henry 8th Grade Support Fund
Donation protected
On Monday, May 15th, 2017, the 8th grade class of C.W. Henry Elementary School was in a severe bus accident on the way to their end-of-the year trip to Washington, DC. All 26 students on board, 2 teachers, and parent chaperone required medical treatment. One teacher is still in critical condition at a hospital in Baltimore. 3 students remain in Philadelphia hospitals recovering from injuries. These students and their families, as well as the teacher, have and will incur many expenses over the next couple of months.
The school is also in the process of planning and organizing the 8th grade Move Up Day which is a long standing tradition at C.W. Henry. Our students typically pay dues to cover the cost of: t-shirts, yearbooks, class gift, rental facilities, decorations, and monetary awards. C.W. Henry would be grateful for any contributions toward these efforts in order to lighten the load for the families already affected financially by this tragedy.
All funds received will immediately go to help offset costs for all those affected by this recent disaster.
