Cynthia (Cyndi) Grayson passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at age 54 on December 5th, 2018.
Cyndi was a popular and beloved middle school science teacher for the Bordentown Regional School District in New Jersey. Teaching science was her passion. As her husband, I saw first hand the incredible amount of planning and work she put into her job.
Teachers know that the workday does not end when school lets out. Cyndi put in countless hours at home, trying so very hard to get her lesson plans just right so that her students would get the science education they need and deserve. If you could have only seen, like I have, how much she cared about teaching, how much she cared for her students, and how hard she worked for them, it would bring tears to your eyes as it does mine. She was taken from us much too soon.
We all understand that school budgets are tight and getting tighter all the time. Cyndi would always express how much they need more textbooks, Chromebooks, supplies...everything.
In Cyndi's honor, I am establishing this memorial fundraiser to fund:
--Equipment and supplies for the middle school science department
--Scholarships for Bordentown Regional School District students
