Andres Pombo Fund

Sometime Friday August 21st Andres Pombo separated from his Fanatic SUP teammates during a downwind training run. Winds were about 25 with 3-4 foot swells at very short intervals. The surf temperature 52. Andres was recorded by his Gopro as he fell off the board and tried swimming to catch it. Later that Friday his board and hydration pack were recovered. Andres is still missing.

Please help get his family to Portland and Hood River.  We seek to raise airfare transportation and hotel funds.

Funds exceeding travel expenses will be used 
towards medical and other expenses associated with this tragedy.  Excess funds will be used for water safety outreach and education in Andres’ honor. We hope a miracle will occur and Andres will be able to lead these efforts.
