Hola, mi nombre es María Verónica Marín Plaza y soy hija única de Ileana Plaza Daza y Juan Javier Marín; y, como la mayoría de ustedes sabrán a mi madre, lamentablemente le han diagnosticado cancer al páncreas.
Sé que mi madre es una mujer querida y admirada, tanto por amigos como por familiares; por este motivo mi familia y yo hemos decidido empezar esta página para crear un fondo, para de esa manera apoyar el largo proceso que tenemos por delante: un soporte emocional, físico, espiritual y financiero tan necesarios en esta dolorosa circunstancia.
Mi madre Ileana, es conocida por sus muchas facetas, tanto por hacer música con mi padre Juan Javier; como por participar en el coro y arreglos de las misas en español en la Iglesia San Vicente de Paul; así como por abrír siempre las puertas de nuestra casa y ofrecer una humanitaria ayuda, una cálida sonrisa, un soporte de amistad o un sencillo plato de comida preparado con mucho amor y solidaridad.
Ella ha sido y es nuestro pilar fundamental y por tanto la persona más importante y necesaria en nuestra familia.
Este proceso no será nada fácil de sobrellevarlo y de luchar; pero todos vamos a estar juntos y a su lado, con espiritualidad y la ayuda de Dios, mientras ella enfrenta este nuevo reto en su vida.
Por este motivo, agradezco de antemano por todo su cariño y solidaridad; por cada una de sus plegarias y oraciones..y por cualquier ayuda económica o donación que puedan aportar y que será para los gastos médicos, de asistencia, tratamientos y medicación que mi madre necesitará en este proceso.
Como ustedes sabrán este tratamiento es sumamente caro; por lo que, nuestro objetivo es poder recaudar la mayor cantidad de dinero posible, para poder amainar tan duro golpe, y superar este momento, que es sin lugar a dudas es el más dificil que me ha tocado enfrentar en mi vida.
Mi familia y yo, no tenemos palabras suficientes para agradecerles por todo acto, oración, llamadas, donaciones o gestos que hagan que mi madre se sienta apoyada por ustedes.

Hello, my name is María Verónica Marín Plaza and I am the only daughter of Ileana Plaza Daza and Juan Javier Marín. As most of you know, we recently received the unfortunate news that my mother has pancreatic cancer.
I know that my mother is a loved and admired women, both by friends and family; for this reason my family and I have decided to start this campaign to create a fund, in order to support the long process that lies ahead: emotional, physical, spiritual and financial support is so necessary in this painful circumstance.
My mother Ileana, is known for her many facets; both for making music with my father Juan Javier, participating in the choir and arrangements of the Masses in Spanish at the Church of St Vincent De Paul Catholic, as well as for always opening the doors of our house and offering a humanitarian help, a warm smile, a support of friendship or a simple dish of food prepared with much love and solidarity.
She has been and is our fundamental pillar and therefore the most important and necessary person in our family.
This process will not be easy to cope with and fight; but we will all be together, by her side, with spirituality and God's help, while she faces this new challenge in her life.
For this reason, I thank you in advance for all your affection and solidarity; for each of your prayers ... and for any financial help or donation that may be provided and that will be for medical expenses, assistance, treatments and medication that my mother will need in this process.
As you all know this treatment is extremely expensive; so, our goal is to be able to raise as much money as possible, in order to help soothe such difficult time, and overcome this moment, which is without a doubt the most difficult that we all will have to face.
My family and I don't have enough words to thank you each one of you for all acts, prayers, calls, donations or gestures that make my mother feel supported by you.
