Jay's K9 Memorial Niche Wall

Hello, my name is Jay.  I'm a Life ranked Scout in Placentia Troop 723 - the "Screaming Eagles."  I am currently working on my Eagle Project for The City of Placentia.  I'm trying to raise money to help pay for the construction of a K9 (canine) Memorial Niche Wall to honor the police dogs that have given their lives in service.  I have already started the project and it is at Placentia City Hall.  Original estimates for the cost of the project were up to $1,000.  However, because I am now trying to match the bronze plaques already used on the Officers' Memorial wall, the cost of the plaques alone will be more than my whole project estimate.
This project means the world to me because of how much it means to the Police Officers and canine handlers at the Placentia Police Department.  They have wanted this memorial for quite some time.  The K9 Memorial Wall will have "niches" (voids) where the ashes of the dogs will be placed.  I love animals and want to honor these dogs that have given so much of themselves to detect and protect!  I will be so thankful for any donation that you can provide.  Let's honor those officers on four feet - they deserve our respect and care.
Man's best friend serving mankind.  That's the motto the officers would like on the main plaque on the memorial.  Let's help them get it!
