Dan Dubuque’s Race To Beat Cancer!

In 2016 Dan was diagnosed with Mycosis Fungoides which is very rare, also known as Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma Skin Cancer.
Dan is the second known person in the United States but the only person to have the cancer spread throughout his skin and eye.
He has had many different treatments in which it’s been a trial and error due to him having adverse reactions to the normal typical cancer treatments.
His cancer is unique and Doctors are using his cancer as a learning tool. Doctors have traveled from around the world to work with him.
He continues to have on going treatments while being listed on the 100% match worldwide bone marrow donor list.
Dan’s immune system is shutting down and even with a donor it will be an extensive battle afterwards to get through his recovery.
Dan is still working limited number of hours at South Catherine Street Small Car Repair.
Due to having to travel to Vermont and New Hampshire several times a week for continuous treatments and appointments his income has diminished.
Dan Dubuque is a South Plattsburgh, NY native, he grew up next to Airborne Race Track. He got behind the wheel in 1979 racing in his own race car. After 20 years of racing Dan retired his race car in 2011.
He went on to racing R/C cars in which he founded Lake City R/C Speedway.
Dan is in a much more important race now , he’s racing to beat cancer!!
