Dan's 2017 ArtPrize Painting Fund

I'm raising funds to purchase the art suppliers I need to complete the 2017 ArtPrize painting I'm working on this year that is dedicated to the Michigan State Troopers that saved my life. I was driving home from a July 4th trip last year with my family when I pulled over to the side of I94 near the Michigan state line and had a massive heart attack. Two Michigan State troopers gave me CPR and applied an AED to start my heart again! My 2017 ArtPrize painting is entitled "4 Minutes of Grace" and is dedicated to those troopers! This is a very large painting display with 3 panels of canvas and a badge shape that will be die cut out of metal and mounted to one of the panels. I estimate the art supplies will cost around $750, so that is the purpose of my fund raiser. I already have been accepted to the 2017 ArtPrize competition in Grand Rapids for this year and my venue is the Michigan First Credit Union on Ionia street downtown.
