Dan's Ride Across America for Stroke Onward

Hi, I'm Dan Blake, a 66-year-old veteran with a mission. Starting on March 7, 2025, I will embark on an incredible journey, biking across America from San Diego, California, to St. Augustine, Florida. Over 53 days and 52 nights, I will cover 2,941 miles to raise funds and awareness for Stroke Onward, a cause close to my heart.

Days 36-40: DeRidder, LA - Poplarville, MS (363 miles)

Days 41-42: Poplarville, MS - Vancleave, MS - Dauphin Island, AL (138 miles)

Days 43-44: Dauphin Island, AL - Pensacola, FL (56 miles)

Days 45-53: Pensacola, FL - Tallahassee, FL - St. Augustine, FL (510 miles)

Stroke Onward is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping stroke survivors and their families navigate the emotional journey of recovery. Founded by Debra Meyerson, a stroke survivor, and her husband Steve Zuckerman, Stroke Onward focuses on rebuilding identities and creating rewarding lives after stroke. They provide resources, support, and advocacy to ensure that survivors receive comprehensive care that addresses both physical and emotional recovery.
