Support Dan the Man!

Hi there, my name is Leanne. Last January, my step-dad Dan Armstrong had what we thought was the pneumonia. He went to the ER because he was having difficulty breathing. The chest x-ray confirmed that he had a tumor in his chest the size of a golf ball. He was then admitted to the hospital to do a biopsy to test if the tumor was cancerous. A couple weeks later we got the devastating news that it was indeed cancer of the thymus and the tumor needed to be removed. Unfortunately, the tumor was located next to his heart therefore requiring a chest surgery similar to open heart surgery. In February 2014, he had the surgery performed. The surgery was quite invasive considering they had to break his ribs away from his sternum to access the tumor. It took Dan 9 months to recover from this surgery. This was very hard on my family considering he is the main financial supporter of our household. Thankfully, we had supportive friends and family to get us through this tough time. We still have quite a bit a catching up to do with medical bills and I'm am asking for your support! Please spread the word and help my family! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
