DCL Zurich, Switzerland Fundraiser

Hi,
I am Nathaniel Kuchel and I live here in the beautiful rural city of Ararat, Victoria. I am currently completing year 11 at Marian College and have a passion for drones!
To my surprise and utter disbelief, recently I have received a letter from the leading Drone Racing organisation in Australia, FPVR.org, inviting myself to compete for Australia along with three others in the team. The competition will be held in Zurich, Switzerland by DCL (Drone Champions League), which is one of three largest Drone Racing organisations in the world. The competition will be held over the course of three days in October this year from the 11th till the 13th. Unfortunately pilots invited to attend this event are asked to cover their own way and expenses.
Up to the current date, I have been into Drone Racing for nearly three years now and have flown almost everyday since, pursuing my dream of becoming the World Drone Racing champion. In the time I have been racing, so far I have competed in three major Drone Racing competitions, the Australian Drone Nationals 2017, the Royal Adelaide Show World Cup 2017 and the FPVR Aussie Open 2018. Competing in Switzerland will undoubtedly be the next level for me, competing against the very best from most countries around the world! DCL Championship races see thousands of spectators attend with millions more watching live broadcastings worldwide on FOX, ESPN and Tencent. The audience of Drone Racing is only set to rise!
Unsurprisingly, it will cost a large sum of money for myself to be able to compete in Switzerland, this is why I am needing to fundraise.
The following main expenses follows:
• Parts to build the DCL drones - since this is one of the largest leagues in the world, it doesn't come without any regulations, rules and guidelines. I will need to build a couple drones around this event to be eligible to compete as there is very strict guidelines to follow for the specifications of the drones. However, there is a possibility that FPVR will be sponsored by companies for certain parts of the DCL team drones.
• Travel and accommodation expenses - I will be needing to stay in Switzerland for around one week, I would also like to make a bit of a holiday out of it as the last time I went overseas was when I was 5 years of age.
Please keep in mind that there is very little time in between now and the DCL Championships, meaning I have a very tight time frame.
No matter how big or small your contribution, I will have a massive amount of gratitude for your support as every dollar is one step closer to myself having an experience of a lifetime. I am sure this will be a steppingstone for myself to get to the next level!
