Help Fund A Deaf Artist's Booth!

Hi -- I'm Adrean Clark, artist and writer. For many years I have produced comics, books, posters, and a variety of art. 

An opportunity came up this May here in Minnesota. The community will be hosting a Deaf Awareness Day, with booths available. Those gatherings tend to be popular with a lot of people attending. I want very much to purchase a booth there, but we are stuck with our limited family budget. This event requires more funding in making my work available to the community.

So, I've turned to GoFundMe. The goal is $1,000 -- which is enough to cover the cost of printing, producing, and boothing. There's a range of reward levels here, so that you can buy shirts, artwork, and more. 

The shirts will be produced locally at the Lowertown Printing Company, and the posters will be printed by a Deaf printer. I want to support both local and Deaf businesses.

Reward Levels

Dreamer: 5 of my De'VIA artwork will be chosen to create a variety pack of large stickers. 

Hero: The "ASL Bat" is a stylized written ASL re-imagining of Batman as a Deaf superhero in a world full of sign language. Shirt is black with silver ink.

Supporter: Open Edition prints are on archival paper. The choices are all listed at http://Society6.com/adrean but if you order from here it will be printed by a Deaf-owned company. Be sure to name your choice of print when ordering or email me.

Collector: "Dandelions" is intended to be a monumental work. This special large format limited edition is printed on hand-picked archival paper, numbered and signed by me.

Patron: Here's your chance to commission a unique artwork from me, be it a portrait or something completely new! Price includes one discussion session, one draft, and one revision.* Sample:

Artivist: The complete package! All above reward levels and one 45-minute video session with me. You can choose to chat about De'VIA art, ASL advocacy, written ASL, or even current news with me. This would also be great if you need someone to present in your classroom or organization gathering on a certain topic.* Video session must take place before the end of this year.
