College Tuition

This page is intended to raise money to help me go back to school to study Nutrition. Nutrition has been a long time passion of mine, with my nutritional degree I hope to raise standards on global health and work with organizations on rehabilitation for people who have suffered with mal-nutrition or obesity since childhood.

Some of the details: This goal is reflects all costs for books, tuition and other expenses to cover 2 years at natural health university, my dream school is Bastyr University in Seattle, WA.

I have saved enough money to cover tuition of 2 years at a community college and also have a generous supporter willing to pay for my books during that 2 year period. I have never had an established college fund, and am doing my best to save as much as I can, I'm just looking for a little help! :)

I'm hoping there are some kind people out there who have well paying jobs, maybe without kids, or had kids who never decided to go to college, that might be willing to help a young woman attain her dream of becoming a professional nutritionist. Further in life I hope to seek a masters and even hopefully one day a doctorate in clinical nutrition is order to be able to work with hospitals around the world. But I can't dream of climbing that mountain before first climbing this one!

A little more info (if you're at all interested): I'm am 20 years old, I graduated high school at 17 and have worked full time since. I've lived independently since age 18. I work a steady 9-5 job, and occasionally get a second job when I have the extra time. I understand a majority of my tuition will most likely need to come from student loans, that is just a harsh reality of today's education. But I'm hoping this page and generous donaters will help lower my potential debt.

I work really hard, I'd want to study something that I love. I'm looking for my future, and whether you can contribute a dollar or a hundred, anything will help in my journey of getting myself back to school. And I appreciate it very much.
