Medical bills/Moving Expenses

In April 2013, I was diagnosed with Kidney cancer in both kidneys. After going through oral chemotherapy for six months, the doctors decided it would be best, for a long term prognosis, to make an attempt to remove the cancerous kidney tissue, in hopes to save some normal kidney function. 

In January 2014, I went through a 17 hour procedure, called a partial nephrectomy for my right kidney, at the University of Minnesota. In the end, it was decided no viable tissue could be spared so the entire right kidney was removed. A few months later, in April 2014, I went through the same procedure for my remaining (left) kidney. The end-results were the same; I had that kidney removed too. 

Since my last surgery in April 2014, I have been on dialysis. I undergo dialysis treatments three times a week with each session in four hour intervals. I still work full-time. I am on the kidney transplant waiting list, but I need to be cancer free for two years before even being eligible for a transplant.

As a result of poor decisions when I was younger, I have bad credit. We are living in a rental that is too expensive and we are looking to downsize. Today, August 23rd 2014, I received a notice that my landlord is envoking the 30 day notice to terminate the month-to-month lease we were on. As of this writing, we need to move by the end of September 2014. 

While we would love to be able to move into a house, get a mortgage, and be able to call it our own; we know that's not possible right now. We have far too much debt and the medical bills have just pushed everything over the top to our breaking point.

I am asking anyone who can donate to please help. Our immediate goal is to move into a smaller rental of some type, that accepts pets. To do this, we need help with the deposits and for the actual move itself. This will be our third move since moving to Minnesota in Nov 2011. Any additional monies raised will go toward paying down medical expenses/debts and upcoming bills as well. 

What can I offer in return for your help? Well, I'm a software engineer, I can make a program for you and your business if you need it. How long it will take will depend on the complexity of what is wanted. Other than that, I cannot offer much more than my gratitude.
