Six days ago I received the devistating call that my Mother was found dead at her home in Grafton NSW.
Due to gross mishandling by local authorities, the circumstances that my younger brothers and I came home to, have been nothing short of horrific. Walking into an environment that is deemed dangerous for people due to biohazardous toxins in the air.
We’re facing absolute worse case scenarios.
The actual date and reason for her passing are proving difficult to determine. As she had passed away quite some time before being found. Sadly, leaving a mess that can only be handle by professional forensic cleaners and tradespeople.
The bill for this clean up is estimated between $12-15,000 at this stage. Needing to be paid immediately.
There is also extensive structural and internal damage that will need to be handled quickly to ensure that the house can be lived in again. The total we will need to spend on tradespeople to ensure the house will once again be structurally sound and inhabitable is unknown.
Without this we cannot clean up and save our family home.
On top of all this, funeral arrangements are on hold as Mum’s remains had to be sent away for further investigative testing. As well as the fact, we cannot afford a funeral now after our deposit for this extensive clean up.
Mine and my two brothers resources are now drained, just placing the deposit to start this process.
Any contribution in our time of need would be so amazingly generous and we’d be forever eternally grateful.
