Dino Sharing Animation/Book

Welcome to our fundraiser page!
Our goal is to gain support for a musical skit that brings a fun and entertaining look at sharing, presented by our most popular character.
With our past successes (see below) totaling close to 5 million views, it made sense for our talented team to seek out the support that it will take to get this piece created.
For the next piece, our fun characters and colorful scenes combined with catchy music will make a memorable introduction - or reminder - of the importance of sharing, something that's essential to learn at an early age.

After creating the "Dinosaur Alphabet Song" , Anthony was looking for another piece to create. While returning from a business trip in late 2013, he received a call from family and a request to create an animation about sharing - his youngest nephew had bitten his brother in an epic struggle over a toy. Traveling at mind-boggling speeds, Anthony created the lyrics on the spot. Due to life's demands, the piece was stalled indefinitely - until now.
Highlights of the song
1. Sharing is better than conflict
2. How to share
3. Benefits of sharing
4. Sharing must be voluntary
5. Deciding to share
6. Conclusion
Even animated shorts can take plenty of time and effort, and this is no exception. Support provides the ability to set aside the resources to focus solely on the project and complete it in weeks instead of months.
As can be seen in our opening video, all the characters and one of the backgrounds are complete. There's still a lot to do as can be seen above in the chart. If funded, the project can be completed between 5 - 10 weeks. More funds will be greatly helpful in speeding the completion date.
Originality is key, so everything is made from the ground up! The sets are modeled in a 3d program, then textures must be added in order to bring the scene to life.
Our style's known as 2.5d - this is basically flat planes that are arranged in 3d space. Though not as hyper-realistic as full 3d, the style's easier to model and texture, and a lot of our fans appreciate our playful and simpler style.
About the book
Since this is our first book, we're going with on-demand printing as a cost-effective solution to make the piece more attainable. It's also an eco-friendly option which reduces waste.
The animation scenes are super high-res and will be the basis for the book's images, although each page will likely be re-designed in order to meet the printer's standards and format.
We've got a bunch of plans for further episodes, and this campaign will definitely be a catalyst for further campaigns and projects.
Thanks again for your time, attention and support. We appreciate your help in getting this project launched! Please help us to get the word out by sharing on social media.
Risks and challenges
There are few, if any, risks to be concerned about. We've done this type of project before, we're highly motivated (our reputations hang in the balance) and we back up all files in triplicate. Our equipment is also insured.
The challenges are fairly standard and are nothing to be concerned about. Having funding will alleviate the pressures associated with unfunded projects, that is, struggling to find time, tying up hardware while doing renders and digging for cash to pay for materials and talent.
The only challenges to contend with are keeping things creative, fun and interesting, the very thing we're passionate about doing. Set backs, should they occur, will be handled in a public and transparent manner.
As soon as the project is funded, the first priority will be completing the audio. This is because the audio is the team effort of four separate individuals, each with a specific role. Once this is done, the risk of a voice artist having laryngitis, for example, won't stall the project. The rest of the project will be in the hands of our designer/animator.
Please NOTE: Rewards that are not digital and must be shipped ie: books, t-shirts are only for supporters in the USA due to expensive shipping charges. Thank you.
