Aveo Wines Napa quake fund

The Napa Earthquake of 2014 was the strongest earthquake we've had here in the Bay Area since 1989. As you may or may not know, downtown Napa was the hardest hit area and many wineries sustained damage. My friend Steve Jennings, winemaker and owner of Aveo Wines (formerly Blue Sky Wines), unfortunately had several of his barrels damaged in the earthquake. Aveo Wines is a small start up winery and now the barrels holding Steve's first and only vintage need to be replaced before the wine is lost. Unfortunately, wine barrels are far from cheap - a new premium French oak wine barrel costs almost $1,200.
The owner of a new winery can't generate revenue until the winery is able to bottle and then sell wine, which for Aveo Wines will not be for almost two more years. Steve has put so much work into his delectable 2013 Atlas Peak Cabernet, and can't wait for you all to try it. So, lets help him out and make sure that delicious juice stays safe in barrels until it is ready for us to drink!
