*********************************************Dream Pathways Kids READ is a national, year-round literacy program designed to promote reading amongst children, teens and young adults by raising 1,000 books for 1,000 young dreamers every year all across the United States. Launched locally in the city of Atlanta, GA in October 2012, the program set out with a goal to collect 300 books by December 21. Thanks to contributions received locally and from caring hearts all across the country, Dream Pathways exceeded their goal and raised a total of $105 and collected over 300 books that were distributed to children, teens, and young adults living in at-risk neighborhoods throughout Atlanta.
What started out as a mission to collect 100 books for at risk children and teens living throughout the city of Atlanta has turned into a year-round mission to reach hundreds of children and teens living across the nation. Inside each book is a free gift designed to inspire and motivate young readers to achieve their dreams.
Empower a child or teen and give the gift of reading by donating new or gently used books to Dream Pathways Kids.

It's a blessing to be a blessing. UBAWA is joining with Dream Pathways Kids to collect 10,000 books for 1,000 innercity children living across Los Angeles. The books will be packaged in bundles of 10 and given to children on Christmas Day. This project had great success in Atlanta back in 2012, putting smiles on many children's faces and by encouraging parents to take their child's literacy seriously.
Inside every package will include a booklet featuring a list of all of the individuals and businesses who donated to help us reach our 10,000 book goal.
Minimum asking donation is 10 children's books or $10. Monetary donations will be used to buy children's books and gift wrapping paper for the packaging.
To make a book donation, email [email redacted] (subject: Donate Children's Books).
*** Authors and businesses who donate will receive a free feature in the December issue of the UBAWA Magazine.
