In Memory Of Ngai Mo (Don) Chow
Ngai Mo (Don) Chow, husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully in the early morning on May 10, 2018 in Vancouver, BC surrounded by loved ones.
He is survived by his wife, Shum Siu Yin, sons, Danny (Yvonne), Dixon (Minna), David and daughter, Susan. He will be fondly remembered by his three grandchildren, Dylan, Emmalyn and Elliot, and also by his siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
Ngai Mo was born on October 14, 1949 in Guangzhou, China. After moving to Vancouver in 1974, he worked as a baker before tirelessly pursuing multiple entrepreneurial endeavours while raising a young family. He spent his free time volunteering for various Chinese associations and could frequently be found singing, dancing, or playing mahjong with friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for 12pm on Friday, May 18th at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel in Vancouver, with the interment to follow at Victory Memorial Park in Surrey, and concluding with a 6pm reception at Floata Seafood Restaurant in Vancouver. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ngai Mo’s life.
