Don't rest, find a cure for MS!

Donation protected

I am telling the story of my mother's journey with MS, and how it has had such a dramatic affect on both of our lives. My mother found out she had Multiple Sclerosis when she was just 19, and now at 43, MS has become quite more difficult to live with. When I was around 6 years old, I soon realized my mom was not like many other parents, that she was strong, but that her body made her feel weak, constantly. At 8 years old, I was introduced to the scary idea of major surgery on my mom, in which she was in the hospital for a few months, and from that point on I had basically grown up and done everything like an adult. Considerably, I had to grow up very quickly, for myself and my family, and now I am currently 16 years old. Through about 20 different medications and injections, we have found a way to cope with the MS, but pray every day that there will soon be a cure. Considering my mother is on so much medication, and that MS affects motor skills, she can no longer drive, for it is unsafe for everyone. Not only has MS taken away her ability to drive, but it also makes walking, writing, and sometimes even speaking difficult to do. Understanding first hand how MS affects a family, I have set up a GoFundMe page in order to help inform people of the complications, and also help them to understand that they can help eliminate these issues by donating to this cause. All the proceedings will go to the National MS Society towards finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. By donating, you will give more people like my mom hope, because MS is not an easy condition to live with, and nobody should have to. We will not rest, until we find a cure for MS. We will be extremely grateful for your donations, and I personally thank you for being so generous.
Don't forget to walk, bike, and donate in the race to erase MS!
