Expense money 4 long hospital stay

The wheelchair accessible van for Xzavier broke down months ago.  That means Valetta and X are on the bus.  A challenge for any able bodied person.  A monumental challenge for this dynamic duo who just want to get out there and talk to drivers about the consequences of distracted driving.

If we can share this message widely enough we may be able to reach a philanthropist or just generous folks who wish to promote the campaign 'Don't text 4 X'.

Valetta shared the Wish List her kids made but refused to share her personal wish list.  She is that kind of mom, always putting the kids first.  If anyone would like to donate a spa day or an hour of massage for Wonder Mom, you may contact Valetta on her Facebook Page here;

If you know of any philanthropist who would happily give this family a wheelchair accessible van, send this article over to them.

The X-Man Foundation strives to educate drivers to the consequences of distracted driving with an emphasis on texting.  Valetta's son Xzavier was struck in the confounds of a school crosswalk on October 10, 2010.  He was five years old.  Xzavier had dreams of becoming a linebacker for the Green Bay Packers.  Now he lives in the restricted zone,  in a wheelchair, on a respirator, and on the bus.

Xzavier was honored on October 11, 2014 by Mayor Tom Barrett with a proclamation of 'Xzavier Day' in recognition of his work in the 'It Can Wait' and the 'Don't text 4 X' campaigns.

Xzavier can travel with the aid of his Super Nurse who also deserves a little holiday cheer.   She is an important part of this team.  Xzavier's respirator must be maintained 24/7.  Super Nurse works overnight on the weeknights and mom Valetta stays up all night on the weekends so they can provide suctioning in case Xzavier requires help.

Mom Valetta quit her managerial position to become Xzavier's primary caretaker rather than allow Xzavier to be institutionalized.  Valetta tells me Xzavier must swallow enough pills to choke a horse every day and he also must stick to a regimented schedule just to keep going.

Xzavier and his family was featured in the documentary 'From One Second to the Next' by Werner Herzog.  Xzavier and mom appeared in a PSA for the 'It Can Wait' campaign.  They have made appearances to audiences at schools, colleges, and events locally in their City of Milwaukee.  They also traveled to New York City to appear on 'The Katie Couric Show'.

Please donate today to give their campaign 'Don't text 4 X' the momentum it deserves.  First we got to get them out there and a wheelchair accessible van is greatly needed.

We are hoping to make Xzavier a household name to our great nation.  We are hoping that once drivers see what happened to Xzavier that their attitudes will change and they will stop texting and driving.

Merry Christmas Everyone from The X-Man Foundation and 'Don't text 4 X'.
