Hi my name is Teresa Lee and I’m helping my 26 yr old son Douglas raise money to help with the upcoming medical bills. April of 2022 Douglas became suddenly ill. Through testing, it was discovered that he had Autoimmune Hepatitis. This was brought on by genetics. This is what I have dreaded since his father’s illness in 2013.  This is probably what his father died from but was too ill when we realized he was sick. Hopefully this was caught early. He is going through testing to be ready when he can receive a transplant. He is a candidate but of course we are having to wait for the most appropriate liver. In the meantime, he is missing work due to illness and the cost of his medication is increasing. There are copays that will need to be paid.  He is a hard worker and now has to come home and rest if he gets to work.  He is looking forward to a great quality of life again.

I am asking for assistance to help him pay for all of the expenses. Any amount will help.
