Dream to Sing 2014

Hi everyone! My name's Alaina Melton and it's always been my dream to sing! Last year i was awarded a scholarship to attend Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp as a choir major. I went to the camp this past summer for twelve days and had the time of my life! While I was there, I took it upon myself to visit the camp's International Post and sign up for an interview. I signed information papers, got interviewed, and auditioned for the program that same day! When I left camp, I waited and waited for an acceptance letter to come in the mail. After about a month i began to get discouraged, but sure enough... It came!!! So, next summer I will be traveling to Germany, France, and Luxembourg with Blue Lake International Choir 2014 for a month! I've always dreamed of traveling and performing so I'm sure you can imagine my excitement!

So far, me and my family have come up with $1,425.00 and this is a great start but we have a long way to go because the tuition alone is $6,300; uniform items are $345.00; passport is $120.00; spending money needed while I am there for a month is exactly unknown:..so we could use all of yours and those you know support to help my dream of singing abroad come true!!
