DTS Outreach to Panama

From May 8-June 23, we have the honor of leading 5 students and 2 other members of staff on an outreach to Panama, working specifically with the Ngobe tribal group .
The purpose of the trip will have many faces for us as leaders. On the one hand, this outreach is the practical phase of the Discipleship Training School (DTS) that we have been running since February. Thus, this will be a key time of activation and discipleship for the 5 students currently attending the school. On another hand, our desire is to partner with and continue to develop the Youth With A Mission (YWAM) ministries already planted in the regions of Bocas del Toro and Chirigui where these tribal groups are currently living.
Throughout this outreach, we will be leading Bible Studies, serving the communities through service activities, ministering in children's homes, ministering in nursing homes, going into nearby parks and connecting with the local youth, and finally continuing in the YWAM initiative to place a Bible in every home in the world. We also plan to connect with a nearby ex-pat community to encourage the body of Christ that is already planted there.
This outreach will also be our first outreach in a family since 2010 when William (now 10) was 4 and Nathaniel (now 7) was 6 months old! This will also be Ariela's first outreach experience of her life! We are super thrilled about this opportunity that God has give us! However, to make this outreach possible, we are needing to raise an estimated $5000. This covers our estimated airfare, housing, and food for all 5 of us.
