Memory of Brandon "BJ" Myrick
Donation protected
While most of us were enjoying our labor day a little boy lost his life in a tragic drowning at Fort Lauderdale beach while enjoying the day with his family.
While it's to lose anyone this kid was something special. He was only 9 years old with a heart of gold. We nick named him "McDouble" because his late uncle Terrance Murray use to stop and get him a McDouble cheeseburgar from McDonalds ever night after practice. Brandon always smiled, always laughed and wasnt only a teammate to these kids, he was a brother.
Most of these kids played together for 5 years and built a bond he would make you smile and he would make you cheer as he was sacking the quaterback, or ripping the ball out of the opposing teams hands, this boy was full of passion from doing great in school, never getting in trouble, loving his teammates, family and playing football.
We can never make sense of a death in any situation especially in the case of a child, through all the confusion it is especially hard when you are not financially able to provide your kid a ride to heaven the way you like due to finances. I am asking all my friends, his friends, and Cougar Family to please donate a little something to this family. I have over 500 friends if we dontate a little something qe all can make a difference. We all have kids just ask yourself, could you imaging burying your 9 year old child?
Thank you in advance every cent will go to Brandon's family and help them every way they can.
Brandon may you rest in peace!!! I guess god needed a special angel for whatever reason, maybe he needed a Defensive tackle.
Please watch over your family help your dad get through this and help your teammates/brothers!!!
