Welsh Wallace Art

I am fully blind and sculpt through touch using polymer clay.
I make a comical Welsh Dragon, Dewi, and his sidekick Dai the sheep. They get up to various adventures in different outfits and uniforms. As I make these to order they can be personalised for free to reflect the person they are for. I also love celtic art and intend to make Lovespoons and celtic decorated boxes in line with my "Whitework" which is intricately detailed.
After dealing with a major cancer scare and a series of operations I want to re-open my shop, with your help, at the beginning of October and return to what I do best. I have won 2 International awards this year and in both I went up against sighted people and professionals and won solely on merit of my designs as they did not know I was blind until afterwards. My passion is creating beautiful artwork with clay and need some help buying enough clay to create my new collections in time for the Grand re-opening for the shop on October 1st.
You can read more about me on the RNIB website as I help facilitate support groups and help others who have lost their sight like me.(Branwyn) In no way is this project connected to the RNIB but more to verify I am actually blind RNIB Volunteers
The money raised will allow me to buy the clay I need to create the collections for the new shop. New Dewi the dragons and Dai the sheep, new celtic claywork and a completely new Christmas range ready for the launch on 1st October. I have all my tools and a fully functioning studio, I just need the extra materials to create the designs ready for the shop.
If I go over the target I will save the money and put it towards a handheld talking GPS guide system from the RNIB - this will allow me to go for walks whenever I want and allow me to be completely indepentant to travel without the need of a guide. You can read more about the GPS device here: RNIB Trekker Breeze Sat Nav
I hope you like my claywork and hope you will want to be part of my journey back to work, Thank you for reading
