Community Development 4 Africa&Asia

I have spent 4 out of the last 5 years living in the dirt, muck, and grub, sleeping in tents, on floors, and in random churches, gracious enough to house me. In order to further my work I have began a Masters Program at Wheaton College working towards a Masters degree in Intercultural Studies and Community Development, I have devoted my life towards this cause, towards helping other human beings who are not as fortunate as you and I, yet still have to struggle through the same daily battles that we deal with. They are beautiful people in a beautiful world out there and I am devoted to them, to serving them for the rest of my life. But, sadly this work doesn't pay wages. If I want to help these people then I have to use my own money. YES, I pay the NGO's and Mission Organizations So that I can work for them full-time, 60 to 80 hours a week working and living with the poor, The way that I save for this work is by working as a teacher or in construction for a year in the States or China saving all that I earn. (I don't have a car or house payment so I am able to save almost everything.) But my work isn't enough to support my projects and my schooling. Luckily I realized that there are a lot of sweet people out there who also care about these things, and that some of them might even be willing to help me. To make a difference in my life, and also in the lives of the poor, sweet, children that I serve. Poverty is such a selfish thing, it is devastating children and families all around the world, just like yours and mine. Lets go Kick it in the butt!

Any support to this work will contribute to projects such as: well-digging, providing clean water, teaching English and leadership to struggling children, encouraging and providing resources for deeper family bonding and development, as well as helping me to conduct these projects with more efficiency, grace, knowledge and IMPACT.

With my whole heart thank you, Mike

Below you will find some pictures of my work in Africa in 2015. I have also written a lot of newsletters about stories and amazing things that I get to see in my work. I hope that these can be an encouragement to you, even if you aren't able to support me, I genuinely hope you are encourage. There is SO MUCH GOOD out there!
