We are hoping to add to our family through adoption! God has blessed us in so many ways and we know He is going to do big things during this season of life for us.
We prayed really hard about how we were going to get the finances to fund a domestic adoption and God continually told us to trust. That has been our keyword through this process! The adoption costs can range anywhere from $25,000-$45,000+. It all depends on the situation that arises. Of course, we don't have that laying around especially after the many IVF costs we had. So, we are humbly asking for help from those who have unconditionally supported us through everything! Our adoption consultant said successful familes don't go it alone. They build a team. We like to call it our "village" because we are very aware that is takes a village to raise a child!
We want to make sure we share how hard we are working! We knew this was going to be hard but we were willing to do anything! We started by selling everything in our home that we could. Then John got a part-time job teaching a class at the local career center two nights a week and Kelsey got a job coaching gymnastics 3 days a week. Kelsey also opened up an Etsy shop selling scarves that she made.
We are beyond thankful for the people God has placed in our life. THANK YOU! We cannot say that enough. This sweet life that God is going to give us is already so blessed to have you a part of their life.
