Help me survive the storm

I am in a desperate point in my life, I took care of a sick parent until she passed in Feburary. While I didn;t work while I cared for her now that she has passed I have finally found employment, but it has taken a long time to do so. because it took a while any monies I had have been depleted and I am quite desperate.
I have not been able to pay gas and eletric bills and currently am in the cold.  This is not an exaggeration, it is the truth. The job I have pays very little and is going to take time to get everything caught up and that is why I am here seeking help.
Currently I am sleeping on my sister's sofa until she moves at the end of the month and will not have room for me.
