Getting Set at Eden Cultures Cafe

Hello! I'm Heather and I went for my dream 2 months ago when I opened Eden Cultures Cafe. We are currently operating at 710 W Rancier Ave Suite 200 in Killeen, Texas
I dream of an America where folks in any neighborhood can have access to delicious, gluten free, organic food, a positive atmosphere, fun family friendly events, and a venue for sharing their creative works.
We have a lot of that already at the cafe' with our oustanding quality food, local art and music, and gorgeous, homey atmosphere, but there's a slight problem ... We're out of our opening budget, and folks are still just discovering that we are here.
Because we are so new, we don't have extra funds to keep expanding the products and services we provide. In fact, it's tough just trying to keep the doors open until we have an established customer base. This is very normal for new restaurants, but we think we're going to make it because of the huge positive response we've had in the community already. People are ready for organic food that tastes great! They want those every day comfort foods without chemicals, GMO's, and that nasty belly bloat that comes with modern wheat.
So would you like to help us succeed?
There are a few things we could use to help us provide the products and services our customers want. If you invest in us, we promise to make it worth your while. And we promise to be a positive influence on the community as a whole, by continuing to support local artists, providing an outstanding venue for folks who want to get their works heard, and providing quality food and service in a health food "desert".
We need a few items, like:
1. A convection oven; to cut down on ticket times for that Ft Hood lunch rush. Soldiers don't have a long lunch but they love our lasagna!
2. A commercial blender; to start making fabulous healthy smoothies with organic fruits and juices (even our fabulous fair trade organic coffees).
3. A commercial juicer; to offer fresh squeezed juices to our health conscious customers on the go.
4. A complete website intact with an online ordering system for grocery pickup. That's right! We want to offer this service for a low $10/month cost, in which you can order organic, whole foods ahead of time and pick them up instead of driving 45+ minutes to get to the closest health food stores. We have the same supplier as Whole Foods, and we want that at your fingertips. We'll even bag it up for you and have it waiting =). We've already begun entering in hundreds of organic products that you can add to an online cart for pickup at a regular time.
5. A wine and beer license; for only non-GMO beer, and glyphosate residue and corn free wine. This is important because of our performance events, and venue. Folks want to listen to live music and comedy with a relaxing drink. But we won't want to offer hard liquor because we think moderation is key.
If you would be so kind as to make a donation to our cause, in support of a local, female owned, organic, non-GMO, family friendly business, we'd love to reward your generosity with some of our delicious food and drinks, and our friendly service. We truly hope you enjoy the live music, local art, and organic food at Eden Cultures Cafe. We hope that we'll succeed and the dream of a quality gluten free, organic restaurant and venue can stick around in Killeen, Texas. Maybe even one day we can go nationwide. Can you imagine if you could visit a place like this when you travel around the United States? Don't you wish other places who are just starting to "clean up" their menu (with a few good things among a mess of chemicals), had a menu as clean and delicious as ours?
For example, our cheeses are organic and pasture raised. Our eggs are pastured. Our meats are organic, 100% grass fed, and hormone free. Our bread is homemade and the bread and pastas are all gluten free, yet still free of GMO's and weird chemical additives (like the chemically treated wood pulp in our competitor's pizza crust). Our salads are all organic and delicious! Our dressings are homemade. Our falafel is made from scratch. The list goes on!
Times are changing, and we are a little ahead of the curve, but we know you're right here with us. Why not give America what she really wants? Why not give them Eden Cultures Cafe?
