Donation protected
EDUCATION EXPLORERS - Help us get 10.000 Girls in rural India into school!!!
All Donations are getting doubled by our partner UBS!
Girls education has immense socio-economic benefits:
- reduces poverty,
- increases the chance of their kids to be educated,
- 3x less likelihood to contract HIV
- reduces child labour
- can stop child marriages!
Starting on 1 January 2015 a group of adventurers from Hong Kong, will embark on a journey to drive an auto rickshaw (aka Tuk-Tuk) 3,000 kilometres from the south to the north of India to raise awareness and support for girl’s education. To bring effective change to the region we have partnered with UBS, the Swiss bank and with Rajasthan-based charity, Educate Girls.
We are focused on closing the 30% gender gap in India through the education and empowerment of girls. Educate Girls provides platforms and programs to engage students, teachers, schools, communities and government officials within existing frameworks to create a sustainable, scalable and holistic platforms in villages in India.
All Donations are going 100% to Educate Girls
UBS has pledged to match and double all donations and will provide governance.
