Donation protected
ELEGIES: A SONG CYCLE is a celebration of life and music penned by Tony Award winning composer and lyricist William Finn (Falsettos, Spelling Bee). ELEGIES commemorates the lives of people both real and fictional with rousing theatricality and unforgettable songs. From Finn's friends, to his mother, to his dogs, to the victims of both the AIDS epidemic and the World Trade Center collapse, these characters and their stories enchant and enrich your spirit in this stunning masterwork that celebrates the human experience and life's infinite joys.

Red Doghouse Productions, who debuted last year with their production of "Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead ", will be producing this intimate musical, to be directed by Co-Founder, Yoni Weiss. Their debut production was an enormous success, raising over $3,000 for the It Gets Better Foundation. Following in its predecessor's footsteps, this production will once again be completely student-produced and independently organized.

Those who donate more than $100 will be considered a “Sponsor” of this production, and will be credited as such in the program if they so wish. All donors will be sent a copy of the program and will receive free admission to the performances.

While performance dates and venues are still being set, the production will be in March of 2016, and will be the high school-age premiere of this musical.

Below is a breakdown of how the money we raise will be used:
$300 - The rights to perform the musical.
$400 - The rental materials required to perform the musical (Piano/Vocal scores, scripts).
$200 - Necessities for rehearsals, research and transportation (as needed).
$300 - Scenic elements, props, costumes.
$300 - Marketing materials, posters, and programs.

Our cast includes these following talented students:
Marguerite Arbogast, Madi Boveri, Leah Cohen, Maya Lagerstam, Noah Lentini, Sasha Manzetti, Will Price, Jonathon Qualls, and Clara Steeves (Piano)

The production team includes: Yoni Weiss (Director), Mark Mazzarella and Julia Steenstra (Producers), Monica Schmocker (Stage Manager), and Cameron Iggins (Production Manager)
