My name is Elisa Kotin. I'm 52 and right now in my life I feel the need to be of service and do something meaningful. I am going to spend the month of June volunteering with www.Watoto.com  in Uganda.

As a volunteer I will pay my own way for this experience which is $2,200.

The fundraising is for the huge suitcase I will bring with me filled with preemie clothes and onsies which are desperately needed. That is the one thing the orphanage has asked volunteers to bring with them. The $1,250 I hope to raise will cover the cost of clothes, preemie diapers and the costs to get the suitcase through each flight all the way to Uganda.

Watoto is a Ministry bringing care to thousands of orphaned infants and children, building schools, medical clinics and villages to grow leaders!

Watoto is also hosting a 5-day, free clinic medical mission in June at Lamindera Village in Gulu, Northern Uganda. Our medical team will see up to 1,200 patients daily saving countless lives. Then at the end of the month there will be an educational training for the teachers, mom's and caretakers of these beautiful orphans. I have volunteered to take the photos at this 5-day medical mission.

I will be volunteering with the infants in Suubi's and Gulu's babies homes and photographing the medical mission capturing images that will hopefully inspire others to get involved and volunteer with Watoto.

I would be so grateful for your help to assist with the costs for clothes and diapers. Any donation amount will be so appreciated as I embark on the most meaningful adventure I have ever been on.
