The Story of 'So Long'

With your help I can make literary history again with SO LONG, an experimental digital media story on ELLO about a young artist who gets caught up in a terrifying augmented reality game. 

I wrote the first Twitter novel, which went viral between 2008-2010. It was featured in the U.K. Guardian, Christian Science Monitor, Folha, made the front cover of The Bohemian, was mentioned in Mashable, NPR, and more. 

SO LONG is now ready for Phase 2 (Read the first 11 installments on the ELLO story page), which requires funding.

"'So Long' is really effing cool. It's about augmented reality games, San Francisco, a biracial young woman who lost her mother to suicide when she was just a girl, an exploration of the government's response to global epidemics, and a pseudo-fascist group called the Geheimnisse that's persecuting and kidnapping intellectuals across the city. Bonus: It's available to read on Ello for free and has some pretty neat accompanying illustrations (by artist Siyi Chen)."
