Engine To Safely Transport my Kids

The past year has been quite rough. My grandmother got sick with cancer and we kept her in the home and took care of her until she passed. When she went it was totally devastating to the whole family! We kept her car (the Subaru that I drive) as a way to stay a bit more connected to her. Recently the engine in that Subaru went and now it needs a new one.
We found out that my girlfriend was pregnant with twins, but we found out late in the pregnancy (about halfway though) This was totally unplanned and unexpected, to say the least, for many reasons. The first being that she was on BC and she was showing no signs of being pregnant, but we were happy nonetheless and we started trying to prepare!
My sons were born early on Thanksgiving day, and it was a great day and we had so much to be thankful for! However, the timing was not great, and they were put into NICU due to some complications.
They were on feeding tubes and IVs. We've been unable to really work since they were born on Thanksgiving due to the fact that we have been at the hospital talking to doctors, spending time with our boys, and just making sure that they are doing well and taken care of and that they know we're there with them. They are finally out of NICU but are still in the pediatric unit of the hospital. They're thankfully doing well and getting better each day!
With us finding out so late and with things being as hectic as they have been since they were born we've been unable to fully prepare, leaving us in a little bit of a desperate situation! The engine for the Subaru alone will cost about $1500. We haven't been able to save that money up and prepare for the boys at the same time, and we still don't have all the necessities (small things like diapers, formula, baby stroller, etc) we need for them when we can finally bring them home!
I also have another set of twin sons that it's tough for me to see as much as I'd like to without this car running. I'm forced to borrow a car which is tough because then i have to work around others schedules.
So I kindly ask that if you can possibly help out in any amount it is absolutely appreciated more than you could ever know! No matter how small or how big, everything helps at this point. We're still not 100% sure when we will be taking them home so we need to finish getting everything ready as soon as possible!
