Dead, Beat, Dad. Documentary

Dead, Beat, Dad. is the story of 5 single fathers and their life struggles, trying to be parents in a one sided legal system. Each father, through his own struggle, helps the next, survive. From a father with a two year old daughter, to one with a 16 year old, the lessons learned and the coping strategies are invaluable to not only the men being pushed through the system like cattle, but their friends and relatives, and anyone with a social conscience. The true victim in Dead Beat Dad isn't the father, but the child, who is forced to grow up without a father playing a major role in the child’s life, or worse, without a father's involvement at all.
Mistakes are made at each level and stage in the process by unknowing fathers, and every mistake can result in not only a costly legal battle, with time taken away from the child, but imprisonment, if not death.
