I've had epilepsy for 20 years. I am raising money for research and development, and hopefully to reduce the stigma that is attached to people that have epilepsy. Epilepsy doesn't mean we are mentally retarded. Some might say I'm a little crazy, cycling 2500 miles alone, without back up and having epilepsy, all in aid of charity. I'm one of the lucky ones, I haven't had a seizure for seven months. The risk of having a fit in the saddle is one I'm prepared to take.
I've very recently completed a bicycle ride from Malaga in Southern Spain to Santander, the Northern coast of Spain. After docking in Portsmouth I got the train to London Waterloo and then cycled to Crouch End, North London. My total cycled miles were 980 in under 4 weeks.
Can an you help me raise money for epilepsy?
I'm going to cycle 2500 miles without back up and alone. I am hoping to work on organic farms in India for no financial reward but in return for food and accommodation.
