Hi!
Thanks for visiting my page! I am a first year teacher at a technology charter school in Memphis, TN seeking to equip my students with the life skills needed to make sure their Graduation Really Acheives their Dreams. The purpose of this page is to raise funds to build a classroom library for my World History Classroom at GRAD Academy Memphis. GRAD is a second year school and still in the process of building a library for scholars. However, as reading is a fundamental aspect of learning and growing, it is my goal to fill my classroom with books that will expose scholars to new and innovative ideas and ways of thinking, as well as expand their perception of the world.
On the wishlist you will find a few examples of books I would like in my library, however this list is by no means exhaustive. There are hundreds of books that can enhance learning in a history classroom and I am open to all text.
If you want to know more, check out my story of why I think books have the power to change lives at my blog- http://natashawilkins.blogspot.com/
