Equality for Aussie Paralympic Medal Winners

UPDATE (02.09.21 3pm): Scott Morrison has just announced the govt will boost funding to Paralympic Australia meaning medallists at the Paralympics will receive the same cash bonuses as medallists at the Olympics. 100% of funds from this campaign will still be distributed evenly amongst all Australian Paralympic medallists at the Tokyo 2020 games. We will contact each medallist individually and distribute the funds directly to the athletes.

Australia's Paralympians who win a medal in Tokyo receive $0 as a reward for their achievements.

In comparison, Australian Olympians receive the $20,000 for gold, $15,000 for silver, and $10,000 for bronze.

At the [female] athlete project, we believe in equality, for everyone. Let's rally together to support the hard work and achievements of these incredible athletes.

100% of the funds raised will be split equally between all Australian Paralympic medallists at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

At the female athlete project , we will also be selling equal t-shirts , where 100% of the profits will be donated to this campaign.

Edit: The bonus payments referred to above are from Paralympics Australia (Paralympics) & the Australian Olympic Committee (Olympics). Para-athletes may receive medal bonuses from individual sporting organisations or sponsors.
