Equine Therapy For Disabled Vets

We guess out of 900 views and 72 shares Later... not many people are willing to help our Wounded Warriors and children....  kinda sucks! BUT WE ARE NOT GIVING UP!!!  My wife and I have managed to scrape together, out of our TOTAL LIFE SAVINGS  163,000 USD that we are gladly giving up to start this truly needed place. We are hoping to get our "sacrifice" matched by others. Our contribution alone, to this worthy cause,  is not nearly enough,( Our family and Close friends will take on the financial  burden to keep it... up and running!) We have been in contact with the  Wounded Warrior Project and the  local VA  to let them know of this great resource hopefully coming to the area. They were as excited as we are! What an awesome group! Another attainable goal is to start a dialog with local youthful offenders programs in the Nevada Southern Detention Center. "Our goal is to open a non profit horse farm to support all of our Disabled Veterans (any Vet ;) and their families as well as any child/teen in need of emotional support ! A place where kids, teens, and adults struggling with physical and mental challenges can come and heal in ways hospitals can`t! Together we can make this happen,we have so many  counting on us! We hit up the local VA often to give and get ideas from our Vets. I hear time and time again how programs like this could benefit so many people. The funds we raise will be going for part of the land needed, equipment, well, lumber, barn, fencing (part of the fencing being donated by family and friends, we also have a great group of volunteers ready to help with the labor once we reach our goal. yay!!!), electrical, concrete, etc.. (We will have 100% transparency for every dollar spent,our donors will have total access to every and all receipts as well as an open door policy to come visit and participate! ) The help and support  our facility will provide will always be FREE of charge!
