Help Eric Glisson Build His Dream

If you haven’t heard of Eric Glisson yet, you will.  He’s a man on a mission, and Eric never gives up.

When he was just 20 years old, Eric was wrongfully convicted of murder along with five other people, all sentenced to 25 years to life in maximum security lockup. 

For 18 long years, Eric fought from his prison cell to prove his innocence.  Despite the setbacks and the denials, Eric persevered and fought.  His hard work paid off. Incredibly, from behind bars, Eric found the real killers in 2012 which launched him and his co-defendants on their path to exoneration.

Though those 18 years were like a living nightmare, Eric did not let his circumstances bring him down.  He stayed focused, took college classes behind bars, and finally obtained his college diploma.

Once he was freed with a fresh take on life, Eric focused on his new mission: to become an entrepreneur.  On December 13, 2013, the one year anniversary of his exoneration – Eric opened the “Fresh Take” juice bar, a health-oriented juice bar and eatery in a Bronx neighborhood deeply in need of healthy eating alternatives. 

Now—a year after his launch--Eric wants to take the next step, and expand: to bottle a ‘Fresh Take’ line of healthy drinks, and to donate 10% of all proceeds to fight for other wrongfully convicted people. His ultimate goal is to provide training in business management to those innocents who are freed and set them up in a Fresh Take store of their own. 

To do this, Eric needs funds to start-up the bottling and marketing process.

He can’t do it without you. To take the first step, Eric would like to raise $100,000 to start-up the Fresh Take bottling operation and begin the next phase of his journey.
