Ermitt Mr. Blues Williams is at the door step of age 80 and with the energy that would rival most adults in their 40's. Mr. Blues is a compelling Jazz and Blues vocalist with a repertoire of great songs in which he has performed with the world renown Charles Ward's Ink Spots, Bronx River Jazz Band, Samuel Brown's Big Band Experience, Oscar River's Trio, and his own band The New York State of Mind
Mr. Blues has performed at the Chicago Blues Club in New York, Iridium Jazz Club, Village Gate, World famous Lenox Lounge, Show time at the Apollo and Jazz Discover on BET. He produced the musical "The Day I Met Joe Williams" and produced one CD in Joe Williams honor- "A Tribute to Joe Williams". Mr. Williams also produced another CD entitled "Just for You". Ermitt "Mr. Blues" Williams is the creator of "Harlem's Unsung Heroes of Afrikan Amerikan Classical Music Award".
In 2016 Mr. Blues was induced into "South Carolina's Encyclopedia of Jazz and Blues Musicians".
Why he is raising money?
Now Mr. Blues is embarking on another journey of creation to produced his next CD titled "One in a Million." This CD will be infused with classic hits like "Summer Time", "Holding On", "I was Ready", "One in a Million", "Blues is Alive and Kicking", and "Wang Dang Doodle" just fo name a few.
How the money will be used?
Mr. Blues is seeking to raise $15,000 to cover the expenses of the "One in a Million" CD.
Why this cause means so much to him?
In the high-tech world today artistes like Mr. Blues have to take total control of their music. The advent of social media has allowed entertaininers the ability to connect directly to their audiences worldwide. Forgoing the multiple layers of management to get product to market.
